Chuck E. Cheese

We usually stop by here from time to time, but this visit was disappointing. There was no AC, so the place felt extremely hot and uncomfortable, and my kids were having a hard time because of the heat. The bathroom also didn’t appear to be cleaned, there was a worker in the stale with a hookah pen I accidentally open the door on her ( the girl worker who came out with chuck for a birthday party today) and the food took much longer than expected even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. I hope these issues get addressed soon, because the location is great and the parking is very convenient.

I recently visited the Chuck E. Cheese in Long Island City on 48th Street, and while the employees deserve nothing but praise, the condition of the building is very concerning. As a monthly membership holder, I find this completely unacceptable. This was my third visit in the past two months, and the air conditioning still has not been repaired. Even more concerning, the portable A/C units that are in the building aren’t even connected or operating, leaving the facility uncomfortably hot for both customers and employees. There are also noticeable stains on the ceiling, which suggest ongoing maintenance issues. Based on what I observed, this doesn’t seem like a fair or safe work environment for the employees, yet they continue to provide A+ customer service with professionalism, patience, and positive attitudes. The staff is clearly doing everything they can despite the conditions, but corporate needs to step in and address these issues immediately. Families choose Chuck E. Cheese expecting a clean, safe, and fun environment, and employees deserve a workplace that is safe, comfortable, and properly maintained. It is completely unacceptable that these problems have gone unresolve

Great service above and beyond, from the staff. Mariah and (I’m sorry if aim spelling his name incorrectly,) Dimonte (they both worked Sunday afternoon). Mariah was very sweet and Dimonte was kind and empathetic, they made the time my grandchildren spent there memorable! Highly recommend this location for the stellar service, courtesy and friendliness!

Took my kids to the Chuck E. Cheese near Astoria (in Long Island City) for a birthday outing. The kids had a blast playing arcade games and collecting tickets—it’s definitely designed with young children in mind. The pizza and wings were just okay—not gourmet but acceptable. However, the noisiness and smell near the entry and play areas were distracting, and several game machines were out of order. It took a while for our food order to arrive, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. For the price, it felt a bit underwhelming. Great for energetic kids who want carnival-style fun, but be prepared for a chaotic environment and spotty service
